Written about the emotions that often come along with dating in an era of communication at our fingertips 24/7, Thinking of You delves into the bittersweet, topsy-turvy feeling of having someone stuck on your mind and wondering if you’re ever on theirs.

With an intimate intro of acoustic guitar behind a gentle & vulnerable vocal, this song builds into a bursting country infused alt-pop ballad.

Written by Jessica Lorraine (Brooks), produced by Josh Barber (Gretta Ray, Gotye), mixed by Robert Muinos (Diddirri, Little May) and mastered by John Davis (Nick Cave, Lana Del Rey). Thinking of You is the first taste of the soundscape that will be explored on Jessica Lorraine's debut album - release date TBA.

Based in the Goulburn Valley, VIC Jessica Lorraine is an Australian singer/songwriter creating infusions of alt-folk, country & pop she draws comparisons with the likes of Missy Higgins, Gretta Ray, Angie McMahon & Amy Shark.

Sparked by humility, self expression and discovery, an instinct to write poems & lyrics at a young age quickly grew into a passion for songwriting and performance. Learning how to play guitar from Youtube tutorials Jessica started out playing shows in local coffee shops and steadily built her live music experience over the years to come, creating a versatile solo show and making a full-time career singing at pub, clubs, weddings, festivals, markets and events all around Victoria and beyond.

With a history of performing on stages such as Federation Square Melbourne (2018), The National Piano Award (2018), Festival of Sails Geelong Main Stage (2019), Gather Festival Mt Beauty (2020) and headlining ‘For The Love of Ales’ festival in Longwood (2021) Jessica is set to have a strong 2023 with a debut album on the way, release date to be announced.

To date, Jessica has released six singles digitally, amassing over 25,000 streams on Spotify alone, and her songwriting has been recognised as a state finalist in Listen Up Music’s ‘The Songwriting Prize’ (2019). New single Thinking of You was released on Friday the 10th of March worldwide, produced by Josh Barber (Gretta Ray, Gotye) the song is a country infused alt-pop ballad exploring the bittersweet feeling of having someone stuck on your mind and wondering if you’re ever on theirs.
